PARDIES FACTS

Pardies For A Purpose, a mobile software app, is currently under development and will be available via the App Store and Google Play Store.  This app will allow giving golfers to pledge, record and contribute to Pardies & PINs directly from your IOS or Android mobile device!

The Q3 pass-through contributions to Pardies & PINs selected charities took place in September 2022 in the amount of $125 to each charity for a total of $625.  The total amount paid to-date is $1,875.

As of 9/30/22, approximately $3,500 has been pledged to Pardies and PINs through a manual pledge and record process.

Pardies & PINs has received 501(c)(3) designation from the Internal Revenue Service and has been classified as a public charity.  The effective date of exemption is August 23, 2021.  Donors can deduct contributions made to Pardies & PINs from federal taxes under IRC Section 170.

Plans for an initial Iowa City, IA area golf outing are in the works for the Summer of 2023. More details to come on our social media pages and on this website.  We plan on having various annual golf outings in different parts of the country to raise money for Pardies & PINS while having an absolutely awesome time on some great golf courses.

There are a couple of options for those who just don't get us "golfierdos" that enjoy hitting a little white ball around a beautiful green landscape during any type of weather that nature brings our way.

1.  Pledge on behalf of another golfer you know.  That not only will put some good pressure on his or her game but double-down on their successes for the benefit of Pardies & PINs.

If you are interested in this, go to the Pledge page on our website, fill out the pledge form and be sure to include the golfer's name as well as the date and course they are playing.  You will have to get the number of each pledged result (i.e. bogey, par, birdie, eagle or other) from the golfer you are pledging for in order to complete your pledge card. You can include a check for your contribution amount made payable to Pardies & PINs or remit your contribution through PayPal at https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=GBFZRJEC6ZVV8 or through the Venmo app (account is @pardiesandpins).

2.  Just give some good ole' fashioned money to Pardies & PINs and leave the golfing to someone else.

All net proceeds from the sale of items in our Shop will go to Pardies & PINs so take a look and grab some great items for yourself and feel even better while doing so!
